9th Online Meeting

Group Meeting 9

This is your last online meeting.
  • If you have not finished your database page, spend the time finishing that first!
  • If you need more time to work on your group reflection journal, finish that next!
  • After taking care of that business, for this meeting you should bring with you one activity you have designed (see below) and take turns explaining the activity and try it out with your teammates.
Your activity:
You should think of a short (5-10 min maximum) activity that you might propose to your group.  It could be an example of an ice-breaking activity your might use with your students to start a telecollaboration exchange, a short communicative activity you'd use to practice some content and/or target language aspect, a farewell roundup-type activity to end a unit of telecollaboration, etc.

You can use or adapt an activity you are planning for your final project, one you've found online, or create one from scratch!

Give each other careful feedback after each idea is presented.  If you really love one of the ideas presented by your partners, you can integrate it into your own project as well--just make sure to give them credit/citation if you do so!!

We'd recommend you take note of the feedback others give to you so that you can improve your activity and include it in your project and perhaps in your individual reflection.
