In-depth look at scaffolding collaboration online (learning styles)

On the Learning Styles Discussion Padlet, please note a way in which you can address AT LEAST two of the learning styles assigned to the groups (Auditory, Tactile, Visual, & Kinesthetic).   Give concrete examples!!

Compare EITHER Facebook or Google + WITH one of the social networks below focused on education.  ALSO,  consider looking at one of the newer social networks (social media sites) like Instagram, Pinterest, etc.
What are the essential characteristics of a Social Network, using Facebook?Some Social Networks often used in education:

Questions to consider as you explore:
  1. What are the social network (features, users, etc.)
  2. How can using this social network be connected to language learning?
  3. What are some advantages & disadvantages of this social network for language teaching?
  4. How would you use this social network to enhance a language learning activity (e.g. propose a task)?
  5. Does the social network exclude any groups (e.g. language level or age) and can it be adapted to that group?
Be prepared to talk about your Social Network findings next Tuesday in class!!!!
